Prpl Up Pup is a playful, purpose-driven world of children's books, puzzles, apparel, and gifts — created for curious kids and the families who love them.

Prpl Up Media is a family-owned creative venture founded by Benjamin and Silvia King — two parents inspired by their daughter. Driven by a shared love of storytelling and imagination, they set out to create story-driven content that encourages children, nurtures values, and sparks curiosity: all with a playful, quirky twist.

Benjamin, an accomplished fashion designer and creative leader, was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida, where he spent his early years before setting out to build his career. Silvia, a marketing and communications professional originally from Lima, Peru, brought her strategic storytelling skills and brand experience to the project. Together, they spent nearly a decade building their life in Georgia — where their daughter was born and where the seeds of Prpl Up Pup were first planted.

In 2024, inspired by his daughter's natural curiosity and adventurous spirit, Benjamin wrote and illustrated Up, Up, Pup! The book's main character, a lovable purple pup, quickly became a symbol of imagination, bravery, and being true to oneself.

Based in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Prpl Up Media is the parent company of Prpl Up Pup — a brand where young readers discover courage, creativity, and connection through engaging stories, lovable characters, and digital content designed for today's families.

The King family moved to Tuscaloosa in early 2025 after Benjamin accepted a new professional opportunity. Now proudly calling Alabama home, they're focused on building roots in the community and sharing Prpl Up Pup with kids and families everywhere.
